Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and is a pivotal team member of the Global Controllership unit at Chubb responsible for preparation of quarterly SEC filings and consolidated financial reporting.

• Assist in the preparation of all 10-Q/K SEC filings including financial statements, footnotes, disclosures and supporting documentation
• Be accountable for various analytical and reporting responsibilities that include the ability to work within finance and other departments
• Recognize, research, and resolve SEC reporting and general accounting issues
• Analyze technical accounting topics and propose conclusions
• Assist in XBRL reporting for all SEC filings, which includes researching tags and staying up to date with taxonomy updates
• Assist with the implementation of FASB projects and standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience required, with Big 4 experience preferred
• CPA designation preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn accounting software
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
